Reverend Dr. Fungchatou Lo will conduct both worship services and the Adult Sunday Class
on May 25th at Risen Savior. The Lo family have been missionaries in Thailand to the
Hmong people in Southeast Asia for the past nine years. We look forward to hearing
God’s message from Dr. Lo during the Mission Sunday services and at our adult class
between services.
On Saturday evening, Kalia and Fung will serve a Hmong meal at 5 pm before their 6
pm presentation to describe their ministry in Thailand, Loas, and Vietnam. If you would
like to participate in the preparation of the Hmong meal, please plan to arrive at 3:30 pm
at the Risen Savior kitchen! To attend the cooking lesson and/or the dinner
presentation, please sign up here.
There will be a free-will donation to help pay for the groceries. Please join us for a fun
evening and see how God is working with the Hmong in Southeast Asia!
Join us for VBS at Risen Savior! This year the event will be held from June 23rd-27th, from 9:00 AM- Noon. “Outlaws for God” is a rowdy Wild Western adventure through the pages of history and the Bible. This Vacation Bible School program will take you through a series of Bible stories that highlight characters who were “outlaws,” defying norms (and sometimes even laws!) if that’s what it took to follow God and hold fast to righteousness. Along the way, we will make fun cowboy crafts, sample some tasty snacks, play some “galloping games,” and practice our frontier skills! It’s all part of a unique and memorable Vacation Bible School. Register today to volunteer or attend!
