 Let Us Pray for AMERICA
October 4 through November 4

Why Pray for America?

God is calling His believers in America to pray.
Will you join us in prayer? It is in prayer that this country can be changed to a land of peace and healing. As we pray remember to give thanks often, to confess and repent as God speaks to our hearts, and to praise the Lord and rejoice in his presence. With these simple practices our prayers and express and nourish our relationship with God.

On this 31 day mission “Pray31” will lead us in raising six national–level requests. These requests address our Spiritual Renewal, President and Vice President, Congressional Leaders, Justice System, Armed Forces, and Candidates for Public Office. This may just be the most important daily break you ever take. Just 5 minute to strengthen and encourage America. Each day we will pray for a specific U.S. State or territory. Praying for the leaders, churches and Christians in the state.
Together let’s lift this land up to God for guidance, patience, and strength that can only come from the Him.

8:00– 9:00 am

Lord God, cover America in prayer. Help, us to Love One Another as You Love Us, show us how you would soothe anger and hate. To be kind and not give into hate, but pray and act in love. Let us humble ourselves as we believe and pray the words in 2 chronicles 7:14
“if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

9:00– 10:00 am

Lord God, we pray for a spiritual awakening across the nation, that the Gospel would be communicated and people of all ages, races and backgrounds would be drawn to Christ and receive his life and salvation. For the church to show the love that we are shown from God. Let us pray your Words of John
13:35 “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

10:00– 11:00 am

Lord God, preserve our blessed land, guide us to look to You for guidance. Help us to join together in heartfelt praise and a great love for You. Let your peace rest on this nation as your people join in prayer. From the Word of the Lord in 1 John 4:7
let us call out. “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.”

11:00– 12:00 pm

Lord God, guide us as we pray over America. As creator of the universe we praise your holy name knowing that You provide all good things to your children who love you. Let us live today in Your will and for Your Glory. You are a wondrous God worthy of praise and admiration. Let us praise You with Your Word in Psalm 34: 1-3

“I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt
his name together!”

12:00– 1:00 pm

Lord God, place a desire in our hearts to meditate upon Your Word. A hunger to know You better and know more clearly how we should live. Keep up close to You and keep us honoring You in what we say and do. Let us keep your Word from Joshua 1:8 in our hearts.

“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

1:00– 2:00 pm

Lord God, give your people a hunger for Your Word. Teach us the way that we should go, and help us walk in Your truth daily. Let Your people lift You in praise and have hearts filled with Your love and Your blessings. Let us see Your living hope through your Word in 1 Peter 1:3

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”

2:00– 3:00 pm

Lord God, Help Your people to turn from the busy activities that absorb the time that we should spend with You. Call Your people back to you so our nation will bear the fruit of righteousness and be set above other nations. Strengthen us with Your Word in John 15:7-8.

“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”

3:00– 4:00 pm

Lord God, Strengthen Your people and help us to be a people who bear good fruit and realize that without You we can do nothing. Let Your commandments be our guide and help us remain in Your love as in the words of John 15:9-10.

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.”

4:00– 5:00 pm

Lord God, as we come before You with open heart we ask that You speak to our spirits with Your words of wisdom and direction, speaking to You words of praise and love. Teach us to know You, fill us with Your presence, and forgive us our shortcomings. Let us learn to pray as Jesus teaches us in Luke 11:1.

“One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”

5:00– 6:00 pm

Lord God, we know You desire for us to be at peace with You and with those around us. Peace from you is a quiet and calm place that our hearts desire. Let us diligently search for You and open our eyes that we might see what is good, honorable and just as it is written in your word Jeremiah 29:11-13.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

6:00– 7:00 pm

Lord God, strengthen us through the hardships in a time when our faith is continually tested. Help us not to fear because you are Lord and in control of all things as we read in Your word Psalm 27:1
